Trendelo ("Trendelo," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-skills learning platform at trendelo.ai. Trendelo is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Ohio, United States. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at support@trendelo.ai.
Information we collect
Account information. Your name and email address, plus a securely hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email, and profile info Google shares with us for that purpose. We never see your Google password.
Learning activity. The track(s) and courses you choose, your lesson and module progress, quiz results, streaks, and badges earned.
Payment information. If you subscribe to Pro, billing is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe shares back only what we need to manage your subscription, such as your plan and billing status.
Technical information. Standard server logs collected by our hosting provider (Vercel), such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — used only for security and reliability.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies or pixels.
How we use your information
- To operate the service — deliver lessons, track your progress, and issue badges
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure
- To send essential account emails (email confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
- To respond when you contact support
- To maintain and improve Trendelo
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in, managed through our authentication provider, Supabase. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
How we share information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Trendelo, each governed by their own privacy and security practices:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google"
- Vercel — application hosting
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Public credential pages
When you earn a badge, we generate a credential verification page at a unique link (trendelo.ai/verify/…) showing your name, the badge earned, and the date. This page isn't listed in search engines or linked from anywhere on our site, but anyone who has the link can view it — you're in control of who you share that link with (for example, on LinkedIn).
Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we'll delete your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (such as Stripe transaction records).
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time by emailing support@trendelo.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — we'll honor reasonable requests regardless of location.
Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access-controlled databases via Supabase's row-level security, and PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Trendelo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
International users
Trendelo is operated from the United States. If you use Trendelo from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and if changes are significant we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you.
